Dr. Tyanne Sylvestre is a graduate of Life University College of Chiropractic. Her clinical internship was completed at the Life University outpatient clinic as well as the university's rehabilitation clinic in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Sylvestre's areas of clinical interest are neurological dysfunction and nutrition. She brings additional expertise to Durham Chiropractic with her specialized knowledge in nutrition and women's health issues.
In addition to her practice, Tyanne enjoys singing at her church and coaching youth hockey, as well as participating in outdoor activities with her husband and extended family.
Dr. Joel Mullins is a graduate of Life University College of Chiropractic. His clinical internship was completed at the Life University outpatient clinic in Marietta, Georgia.
Dr. Mullins has a heart for families having seen patients of all ages from 86 years old to newborns. He has a passion for sports, competing in soccer, swimming, and Rugby. Through participating in sports while in College he gained first hand knowledge of the effect chiropractic and proper nutrition has on the function and performance of the human body.
In addition to his practice, Joel participates in men's softball league, enjoys cooking and is an avid soccer and college football fan.
Both doctors at Durham Chiropractic enthusiasm for alternative methods in healthcare naturally have grown out of a deep and abiding interest in the care of their patients and respect for their own bodies natural healing capabilities. Both Dr. Mullins and Dr. Sylvestre focus on improvement of health through a holistic structural approach to the body in conjunction with the awareness that environmental and nutritional factors greatly influence one's health. "To be healthier than you've ever been, you must do something you've never done" is the motto of the practice.
